The bunkers will be found by following the road towards the point, park the car and walk further along the paths. The bunkers are scattered all over the place, most of them are open and can be visited.
The battery has four 22cm emplacements, we've only found two of them; the emplacements are very unusual and worth our attention. On both sides of the entrance to the actual gun-emplacement were ammunition and personnel bunkers (501 or/and 502) built. Tracks for the ammunition carriers are visible on both sides of the emplacement.
Lots of supporting bunkers have been built at this location; 621 personnel, 641 ammunition, 638 hospital bunker, Flak emplacements, Vf. shelters and two 671 casemates are covering the town Camaret sur Mer. The fire-control bunker is a 636, damaged but still looking impressive. Inside some paintings on the wall are still remaining.
The two 671 casemates are located at the eastern side of the point, next to an old French fortress. The second 671 is rather strange. It has its entrance at the side while a regular 671 has its entrance at the back. Secondly an extra room, probably for personnel, is caved in the hill and connected to the 671.
Note the bomb-craters and the cracks in some of the bunkers due to heavy bombardments by the Allied air force
